My career began in 2011 as a biologist at the Professor Mello-Leitão Biology Museum (now the National Institute of the Atlantic Forest – INMA), where I worked on plant collection and identification projects. During my undergraduate studies, I focused my research on the ecology of tropical lianas (climbing plants) and completed my thesis on the dietary habits of the muriqui, the largest monkey in the Americas, with fieldwork in the mountainous regions of Espírito Santo state.
In 2014, I completed my master’s degree in Ecology at UFES, furthering my research on lianas at the Vale Natural Reserve in Linhares, ES. My work included the taxonomy of the Sapotaceae botanical family, where I had the privilege of describing a new tree species, Pouteria samborae. A highlight of this period was my collaboration with the renowned Professor Stefan A. Schnitzer, a global authority on tropical liana ecology, during my time at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama in 2013.
In 2023, I expanded my academic journey by earning a degree in Physical Education & Health at UNESC, where I developed research projects focused on promoting health through supervised physical exercise.
Recognizing the importance of emergency care, in 2024 I became a certified First Aider through Removida Capacitações em Saúde, Colatina, ES, Brazil. While I haven’t yet worked directly in emergency services, this valuable skill adds depth to my professional profile and enhances my capacity to support others.
My teaching career spans elementary, high school, and higher education levels in both public and private institutions. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was at the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (IFES), Campus Cariacica, ES, Brazil—an opportunity where I believe I learned just as much as I taught.
Currently, I serve as a university professor in the Physical Education program at UNESC, where I mentor future professionals, sharing knowledge and practical experience to foster their growth and commitment to well-being.
Combining my knowledge in biology and physical education to teach and guide my students—both in the academic realm and in personalized training, to take care of health by releasing the practice of physical exercise done with quality, intelligence, and scientific basis.
My great goal is to promote a healthy and balanced life, integrating body, mind, and science.
With dedication and passion for science, health, and education, I remain committed to positively impacting people's lives, contributing to a healthier and more conscious society. I believe I am doing a good job.
Count on me and my services whenever you need and expect results that exceed your expectations.
Thank you.
